Allison Colgin



Allison moved to Jackson, Wyoming from the Bay Area in 2007. Her practice is primarily focused on employment matters. Allison counsels Wyoming and California employers on risk management and litigation prevention, compliance with state and federal wage and hour laws, accommodation of employee disabilities, and compliance with family leave laws. She advises clients on employee disciplinary issues, discrimination and harassment complaints, and employee terminations, and layoffs. She also reviews and drafts employee handbooks and other employment policies. She provides management training and harassment prevention training to employees and managers. She drafts and reviews employment contracts.

Prior to moving to Jackson, Allison worked at Intuit, Inc. As Intuit’s first in-house employment lawyer, Allison was responsible for all employment policies, terminations, layoffs and employment disputes. She has also created and presented management training programs for managers across the country and also sexual harassment training for managers and employees. She also managed all litigation for the company.

Allison is on the Board of Directors for the Jackson Hole Ski and Snowboard Club. Allison is married with three teenagers, two goldendoodles, and several chickens. In her spare time, Allison enjoys hiking, skiing, paddle boarding and exploring the Tetons.
